How this estimation works
Atmospheric pressure is estimated with a standard barometric formula. Using inspired oxygen fraction (≈21%) and simple alveolar gas assumptions we compute expected inspired and alveolar oxygen pressures. Finally a conservative expected SpO₂ range is presented based on altitude bands and typical human responses. This is an approximation and not a substitute for medical advice.
